Florian Wengel is a PhD candidate in economics at SOAS University of London and a non-resident researcher at the Macro and Green Finance Lab at the National School of Development, Peking University. 

He obtained a Bachelor degree in Economics & Business from the University of Hamburg and a Master degree in Economics from the Université Paris 1 Panthéon Sorbonne and Fudan University. In his PhD research, Florian is analysing climate-related financial risks in China's financial system.
